Проходя мимо палатки, в которой находились трое жителей соседнего региона, также занимавшиеся сбором ореха, мужчина уловил обрывки их разговора. Обвиняемому показалось, что люди в палатке в негативном свете обсуждают специальную военную операцию. Разозлившись, он выстрелил в палатку, затем зашел внутрь, выстрелил еще раз в темноту, а после этого выстрелил и в третий раз - в одного из убегавших. К счастью, на этот раз он промахнулся. В результате стрельбы один из потерпевших получил сквозное огнестрельное ранение левой руки с повреждением лучевой кости.
