Преступник застрелил мужчину в баре и скрылся, но вскоре был задержан бойцами СОБРа и ОМОНа. 31-летний Сергей Марков из г. Питкяранта, застреливший мужчину в баре, — действующий боец СВО с контрактом. Инцидент произошёл ночью 14 мая: после ссоры в баре Марков выстрелил в 37-летнего жителям Питкяранты, который умер на месте. Убийца убежал, но был задержан после штурма гаража, где прятался.

Sergey Markov, 31, from Pitkyaranta, who shot the man in the bar, is an active contract soldier in the special military operation. The incident occurred on the night of May 14: after a quarrel in the bar, Markov shot a 37-year-old resident of Pitkyaranta, who died on the spot. The killer fled but was captured after a raid on the garage where he was hiding.
